yay i'm back after i decided to "renovate" my blog...new year, new layout with new songs and new tagboard! :D (i'm supposed to update on how i spent my christmas and new year but i seriously doubt i can still remember everything i wanted to say... :X)
breakfast on christmas day at fish and co! ordered a basket of fries even though i already had fish and chips...
and as usual i din manage to finish the fish...and cos i was too greedy i din finish the fries either! :X
after eating we went to cathay to watch alvin and the chipmunks...the girl chipmunks were super cute! xDDD but hoh i sort of forgot the storyline for part1 already so... :X then we chiong-ed to xiandelai steamboat place (which sis recommended and which is quite popular online too) and were too early for our reservation! :X
(just realised i forgot to change the orientation of the photos before i uploaded them! but considering i have to wake up at 6am tmr for class and i already spent so long uploading them i'm sure it's not too hard to turn ur heads and look at all the yummy raw food right! :D)

then chionged (again) to clementi to party world with xin dar, sharn, kint, celine, scandal dar (i hope i din forget anyone...? if i did, blame it on the time! x.x) exchanged gifts and got Q-毛, so named cos he has curly hair...hurhur. (AND DUN KNOW HOW MANY PPL SNATCHED SO MUCH HAIR OFF HIM LATER HE BALD THEN U ALL KNOW AH D:)

cant remember much what happened after that...scandal dar and kint left early (somehow the only memory of late-night clementi i have is of all the cockroaches running around and all the spit on the floor...)
then on new year eve me mh and celine went to clementi (supposed to go lan first de loh but no space...) to buy supplies for steamboat (yes i'm addicted! xD) then went to his house to rot...turned out we din have much time to rot actually LOL. started preparing the food and after preparing started eating liao so no time to take pic...but it was nice! hohoho at least we could eat halfway and go watch tv to cool down...
count down at mh's house (although it was a very very non-exciting event LOL!) we just watched the tv and there was no cheering even when they counted down... -.- then we abandoned mh (:X) and went to scandal dar's house to (what else? scandal lah! :D) have a sleepover, supposed to watch movies but we ended up playing audi and freezing the movie...lolol. and i dun know why in a sleepover ppl dun actually sleep...
then around 7 we went down to mac for breakfast...it was fate that i just nice saw the newspaper that mac was selling doraemon charms! MUAHAHAHA just nice when they started i buy nia...hurhurhur. xDDD after eating i was basically half-dead all the way home liao...(not like celine was much better HAHAHA)

just decided to go to taiwan after my 21st birthday so have to start saving now...x.x checking up on accomodations, tickets, places to go and transport~i can do my shopping there and dun have to wait for shipping! xD then can go try their mala steamboat...doraemon stuff...night markets...xDDDso starting from now i shall be very broke...

this weekend was so busy that i even missed my nephew's full month celebration! :( but at least i already know what pressie to buy for him...super cute ones! just wait till i get my pay... :X din even have time to check my mail...stalk blogs...go facebook... D: at least now it's relatively back to normal...went to popular bookfest after work yesterday...maybe cos it was sunday night so not that crowded...p6 chinese assessment books are still not out! but at least i found some treasures...hiak but din have time to finish looking at everything so most likely would be going there again...

went to party world with sharn, max, jojo and ...(i dun know who! x.x not even very sure guy or girl ._.) anyway~it was very entertaining! was expecting them to go after they finish dinner but not-that-unexpectedly they only started after i reached cos they were playing lan...LOL. si sharn dun want to use mic sing (but hoh even without mic he can sing louder than all of us!!). and i'm amazed how even after the ktv session we can still stand among xiao qiang(s) and other unknows and just crap for 1hour! x.x finally reached home at 3+am and realised i cant sleep immediately cos i need to rescue my pizzas in cafe world...=/
sang a super nice song that i haven listened to for quite long...shall share it with everyone!

昨晚，我才终于领悟到了为什么自己一直接受不了你。没有什么特别的事发生，只是我突然明白了。
原来，我一直都想着一个人，一个我以为早就忘了，不重要的人，因为我知道我们是不可能的，况且我们交情也不 算深，不是那种没有他就会死，但是没有他，明明什么都没少，却一直觉得少了什么。是能活下去，可是生命变得 没有什么特别的了。
i've already made this mistake once, so i dun want to make it again. i thought i could learn to love my penpal, which was why i got together with him. but even after a few months i realised i'm wasting his time. so i'm not going to do that to u too and waste even more of ur time than those i've already wasted.

went to visit nephew (and sis) today...but before that went to salon to ask about the prices, din really know got what difference between highlight and dye worh. but the worst part if cutting my long hair...i would miss uuuuuu~ D: then went to boon lay to collect my bag...the one i've been waiting for 1 month! :D then took train all the way~to eunos...qian li tiao tiao to visit baby and he falls asleep right after he finished eating and sis threw him into my arms. -.-
thanks ah for trying to bluff me that baby's playing with him when he's already sleeping! but apparently there are ways to "play with him" too one-sided...had fun poking him! must be my arms sooooo comfortable that he cant help but fall sleep...xDDD but i think he was faking sleep loh. =/ cos whenever i poke...he will open one eye to peek then close again. so...*pokes* *opens eye...sleep again* *poke somemore...* *opens eye and close again*
then when i was about to leave and went to say bye to him...i saw his eye open! (yes only 1...) but he quickly closed it again when he saw me! very cute! cos i poked him then he open his eyes...poke and open poke and open... :X *sigh* only a few more years of "cute-ness" before he grows up into naughty boy...=/
think next time i shall go again...especially during baby's "off-peak" periods where there's nobody else around! (muahaha) but i cant go for his full month cos i would be working... :(

after letting my blog rot for almost a month i think it's time to revive it...but hoh not that i din want to update loh...more like at first nothing to write about then it became no time to blog these past few weeks...basically it has just been sch and work...only getting around 3-5 hours sleep every night cos too busy doing work...=/ and the worst thing is i'm working without getting paid! if u forgot to write the cheque then just admit it and tell me so when are u going to give me, dun give me some bullshit and then just hope that i'll forget about it. dun think that what u pay me is very high hoh. added to the pay coming so late every month, i'm seriously thinking of getting private tuition jobs loh. at least they take up less time with more pay and at least the pay would be on time. =/
anyway, went to scandal dar's birthday party at de coder's cafe on the 10th. it's much cheaper than minds' cafe and there's a branch in clementi too! and the games look quite fun too...just that hoh, i think it would be fun only if a large group of friends go together...x.x then last sat on the 17th, went to ECP for bbq and to celebrate xin dar's (<3),>
no movie reviews to update about since i din get the time and luxury (since i'm broke waiting for the stupid pay) to watch any movie between the last update and this...my "500 days of summer"! D: OH YEAH cant forget about this...went to chinatown before the bbq to do my singapore history assignment...was thinking of going there to do some cheap shopping de loh but in the end the prices there ALL so ex! =O to scam tourists nia loh. :X
then we discovered a whole shop filled with doraemon stuff! doraemon lovers! xD bought a file with 10 clear folders inside. felt that it was quite ex ($4 for a file) but with the clear folders inside...actually worth it lah. not to mention see already also happy! :DDD but hoh, found this doraemon soft toy that looks so sad that i just wanted to bring it home! x.x but hoh apparently the reason why it looks so sad is cos it's too ex then no one buy that's why so sad... :X
for some reason it seems like everytime i felt that things were improving, some things would happen that would make me reconsider my thoughts...

somehow ended up watching alot of movies over this past week... :X last entry i stopped at my shopping trip on fri...so on sat i went to lan at e2max at cathay...no new maps for l4d and no audi! D: went to watch 4bia 2 at 1120...x.x heng the theater was quite crowded...=/

following the short story format of 4bia 1, the sequl has 5 short stories...the first was The Novice, where this teenager was sent to a temple in the mountains to repent after commiting an offence which resulted in the death of his father. din really understand the whole story but i felt that he committed it repeatedly thus resulting in his death...more about karma actually. if he had done what one of the other monks told him to and stayed inside the cave then perhaps he could have been saved. (this part was explained to me later...)
then the second one was The Ward, where this guy was staying overnight in a ward cos he injured his leg in a car accident and weird things started to happen when he realise the guy sharing the ward with him was on the brink of death. (just knew weird things would start to happen loh when he had to stay overnight and his family was arriving the next morning). i din understand the ending of this story...=/
the third was Backpackers. seriously i think this one can be the scariest story of all...but the make-up of the zombies abit too CMI. :X but at least i could get the logic of this one...personally i would think the next one is scarier...it's called Salvage, this woman was selling 2nd-hand cars. this part wasnt so bad, just that she lied to the customers and told them all the cars have never been in accidents before even though they ALL DID. and after she got scolded by a customer i thought she was going to stop the business...until i realised she just scolded her worker for not doing a better job of concealing the damages from the car accident. =/ basically she deserves what she got but i dun think her son deserved it...x.x
the last one In the End was meant to be a comedy more than a horror show (even though there were still scary parts...TT) the 4 guys from 4bia 1 the camping story are back again..the whole theater just kept laughing throughout this story...xDDD overall i think the first 4bia was still nicer cos after watching just the first story of that i was tempted to go home already...(cos too scary, not cos too boring or what hoh) but i managed to last till the end for 4bia 2...x.x

went to jp to shop for awhile on sun...wanted to find my shoes but couldnt...(okok i know i'm picky. :x) then on mon had mj game(s) with ma, sharn and mh! wanted to scam win their money de...won $6++ the first round but was super suay during the 2nd...heng i won a $3.20 zimo so total won $9.60 for that game...but in the end still only won 40cents nia...x.x spent 6hours earning 40 cents! omg~ sharn was the big winner...he won half a bowl of ajisen's ramen!
then after the game wanted to go imm eat ajisen (3rd time in a row...but still cant break my own record lah where i actually ate the same thing twice in a day) with sharn and mh but mh wanted to go watch movie...so we abandoned sharn and went to cathay (AGAIN)...the original plan was the eat inside the theater and to watch district 9...but in the end we ended up watching the midnight show for Gamer and went to eat ajisen at plaza sing... -.-

basically the concept was of a game where humans can control other humans who are convicts with a death sentence...they get to choose whether to wait for their sentence or they can choose to become slayers (who have to fight battles) and they can go free as soon as they manage to survive 30 battles...so there was one guy who managed to survived till almost the end, but cos he knew some dark secret of the creator so the creator was out to ensure that he could not make it out. in the end, even though there was an unexpected twist at the end, i felt that the ending was too sudden and easy...got so easy die de meh?? ._.

yesterday went to jp for foc manicure and pedicure again...wanted to try out some darker colours and i decided that the theme for the day was metallic...lol but too bad the first colour i chose was out of stock...x.x and hoh, i think the service there was really... =/ kept asking me to buy this buy that...want rest in peace also cant... =( no wonder sis gave up going there...but hoh, still got 2 times de mani/pedi left, 1 treatment and 6 whatever-it-is left...=/ i think the next time i go would be christmas liao...
after that wanted to ask someone if he wanted to watch The Ugly Truth at jp...cos i was looking through the reviews then i think the movie would be quite nice...but in the end din and went to try out the party world at clementi...got promo leh $11.80++ each for at least 2 ppl...can choose any 4hours between 11-7...sang alot of new songs...xDDD sang till no voice liao. x.x then went home to mjmj...(AGAIN :X)
then today went to cathay (yes again again...x.x) to watch The Ugly Truth. even when it had ended i still felt like i haven gotten enough...but it's a good movie for cynics like me! cos many thigns that they mentioned were things that i have actually thought about too...could sort of expect the ending even right at the start le but it was how they got there that was important...most of the time, we are actually just looking for someone who fits into our checklist...so even when we've already found "The One", we would reject him/her on the basis that "oh but he doesnt have this this this quality which is a must-have on my checklist..."
men are visual creatures. i dun know how many times i have heard this phrase already...and yeah i dun think they can last long if this really happened in real life. =/ cos the guy would just keep looking/"admiring" other women even when he's out with the girl...yeah in fairy tales the guy would say something like "i have no place for other women cos u're the only one i see" etc etc but that wont happen de loh...guys are always looking for better ones, especially i dun know why some would just like to sms/use their phones even when out with other ppl (i koped this from the forums but i think it makes sense loh.) at least show some respect mah...u mean u rather play with ur phone all the time than to be with whoever u're with at that time? then why bother asking them out...
and some who just liked to keep talking about others...looking around for ppl they know...is whoever that's beside u really just so boring that u need to constantly look around for others u can talk to...? =/
anyway~really felt like nodding my head in agreement to many things that they said in the movie...the quote i got for this movie..."Men are simple". no wonder it's NC16 for sexual references...some "references" are over so fast that i din even have time to think about what they meant... ._.
